Welcome to the Annual African Descent Summit 2025!
We are excited to invite you to the Annual African Descent Summit 2025, hosted by African Descent Ontario (ADSON), from July 17 to 20, 2025, at the St. Cyril and Methody Macedonian Bulgarian Eastern Orthodox Hall located at 237 Sackville Street, Toronto, Ontario, M5A 3G1. This transformative event brings together individuals, organizations, and communities from across the globe to celebrate the remarkable contributions, culture, and heritage of people of African descent.
This year’s summit will focus on the theme “Recognition, Justice, and Development: Shaping a Future Together”, shining a light on the importance of recognition for the achievements and culture of the African diaspora, justice through addressing systemic inequalities and combating anti-Black racism, and development through fostering empowerment and progress.
