The International Art and Culture Forum & Talent Exhibition 2026 is a full-day global cultural gathering celebrating art, heritage, innovation, performance, and entrepreneurship. This forum brings together artists, cultural practitioners, entrepreneurs, academics, professionals, youth, and elders from Canada and internationally, with a strong emphasis on communities of African descent.
The event blends exhibitions, performances, business showcases, academic dialogue, workshops, and the Wisdom Elders Circle, concluding with a cultural dinner and late-night talent showcase.
Annual African Descent Summit Registration Now Open
The African Descent Summit 2026 welcomes participants from across Africa and the global Diaspora. Held during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, these gathering highlights the global contributions, athletic excellence, cultural power, and justice movements of African-descended peoples worldwide.

Call for Abstracts (NEW)
International Art, Culture & Creative Research Submissions
African Descent Ontario invites artists, academics, researchers, cultural practitioners, and professionals to submit abstracts for presentation at the Forum.
Submission Themes Include:
- African diaspora art, identity, and heritage
- Cultural preservation and storytelling
- Creative industries and innovation
- Art, design, and technology
- Entrepreneurship and economic empowerment
- Youth leadership and education
- Intergenerational knowledge systems
- Community development and cultural policy
Guidelines:
- Abstract length: 250–400 words
- Include title, author(s), and affiliation (if applicable)
- Submissions must be original work
- Selected presenters will be invited to speak or exhibit during the forum
