4th Annual African Descent International Art & Culture Exhibition

The 4th Annual African Descent International Art & Culture Exhibition is a three-day, family-centered, globally curated cultural experience celebrating art, culture, and the contributions of people of African descent across North America and the diaspora.

Designed especially for Black children and youth, this immersive exhibition blends art, fashion, performance, storytelling, food, and lived history to help young people see themselves as proud, confident members of both African heritage and North American society.

At the heart of the exhibition is the Wisdom of Elders Circleโ€”a living classroom where elders share knowledge, values, and stories with children, families, educators, and the wider community.

  • Artists & Cultural Practitioners: Showcase work, educate children, build international networks.
  • Educators & Youth Workers: Access culturally relevant learning, strengthen curricula, support student identity.
  • Parents & Families: Learn tools to raise culturally grounded children, engage in family learning experiences.
  • Community Leaders & Policymakers: Connect with communities, support cultural education, explore partnerships.
  • International Delegates & Diaspora Members: Share global perspectives, build lasting collaborations.
  • Allies & Supporters: Learn about African-descendant contributions, engage in inclusive, intergenerational cultural learning.
