The African Descent Ontario organizing committee is excited to announce the Call for Nominations for the 2025 Annual African Descent Summit Awards, to be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, during the Summit in Toronto.
These awards recognize outstanding individuals and organizations of African descent who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to community leadership, cultural excellence, youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, education, advocacy, and humanitarian efforts.
We invite you to help us Honor those who uplift and empower our communities by submitting a nomination today.

- Community Leadership Award
- Cultural Excellence in Arts & Heritage
- Youth Changemaker Award
- Entrepreneur of the Year
- Educational Impact Award

📝 Nomination Guidelines:
- Nominees must be of African descent with a demonstrated record of impactful service or achievement.
- Each nomination must include:
- A completed nomination form
- A biography of the nominee
- A 300–500-word statement of support
- Supporting materials (optional but encouraged)
